When you book a consultation with us, we’ll begin by creating a customized plan to meet your needs—skin care concerns, weight loss goals, and anything in between. The entrance to Body+Beauty Lab is located on the ground floor of The Franklin Residences between 9th and 8th Streets. To park at the Franklin House parking garage, follow Chestnut Street until you can turn right onto 8th Street. Stay on 8th Street until you can turn right onto Sansom Street, and then turn right toward the parking garage. The garage entrance is on the right, slightly before you reach 9th Stree

Dr. Benjamin Lam, DO, FACOS, DFACOS, FACS, serves as the chief medical director for Body+Beauty Lab. As a double-board-certified surgeon in both general surgery as well as plastic and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Lam is highly skilled and an expert in his field. Dr. Lam has developed numerous technological advances, and his groundbreaking techniques have been adopted by surgeons throughout the country.
Dr. Lam is a recognized speaker at the national level and has served as the president of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons-Plastic Surgery section, as well as the program director of the plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. With almost 10 years of expertise in body contouring and other cosmetic surgery procedures, Dr. Lam has gained great respect for his accomplishments in breast reductions, lifts, enlargements, and reconstruction after mastectomy. Dr. Lam’s extensive knowledge and expertise have helped numerous patients achieve their aesthetic goals.
Dr. Jason D. Bloom is an award-winning, Ivy-League-trained, double-board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon. Dr. Bloom has worked at some of the most elite and renowned institutions in the country. His extensive experience and reputable training provide the foundation for his excellent technical skills and surgical aesthetic. He is dedicated to the treatment of patients with cosmetic concerns and reconstructive problems of the head and neck.
Dr. Bloom’s philosophy is to provide each patient with a specialized treatment plan based on his or her individual needs, stressing a natural, refreshed, and rejuvenated look. Dr. Bloom then uses his training and knowledge of the time-tested and cutting-edge procedures to provide his patients with safe, reliable, long-lasting treatments.
Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner Sarah Sidiqi is a nurse injector here at Body+Beauty Lab and possesses a great deal of expertise in the field of nursing and aesthetic medicine. She received her Master of Science in nursing from the University of North Carolina where she was the recipient of the James M. Johnson scholarship, which is only awarded to exceptional students who have demonstrated great leadership and excellence in academics. She graduated with leadership honors and was elected to Sigma Theta Tau, a national honor society for nurses that recognizes excellence in the nursing profession. Prior to joining our cosmetic family, she worked as a field clinical specialist and provided company training in injectables for healthcare providers. She has been practicing cosmetic medicine for over a decade and has years of experience with many products we offer, such as wrinkle relaxers (BOTOX, Dysport, and Xeomin) and dermal fillers (Juvéderm, Voluma, Restylane, Sculptra, and more).
Alison Palmer is a board certified nurse practitioner who has spent her career dedicated to aesthetic medicine. As a provider, Alison prioritizes establishing partnerships with her patients and is committed to providing each patient with an individualized treatment plan to facilitate the best outcomes. Alison has two masters degrees, one from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and the other from Thomas Jefferson University. In addition, she has been privately trained by industry leading specialists and values continuous training to ensure the highest quality care for her patients. Outside of Body+Beauty Lab Alison enjoys city life with her friends, family, and dog, Bogey.
As a registered nurse for over 14 years, Anya has constantly sought to combine her knowledge of medicine with her desire to create a warm, comforting environment for patients. This approach has allowed her to practice nursing in various specialties before landing in aesthetics and pursuing a career as a nurse injector.
As Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist, Anya has years of experience with various injectable agents, laser devices, microneedling, nonsurgical skin-tightening and medical grade skincare. Anya has worked alongside notable plastic surgeons as a nursing coordinator caring for surgical patients following cosmetic procedures, as well as educating patients and preparing them for their upcoming surgeries.
Proficient in advanced injection techniques and always seeking to learn and enhance her skills, Anya utilizes her artistic eye and passion for beauty to create natural, customized results for each individual. Set to begin her nurse practitioner program next year, Anya is constantly building her aesthetics portfolio, staying up to date with the latest industry treatments and protocols.
Alison is a highly skilled and versatile registered nurse with over 8 years of clinical experience, including a strong background in critical care. After years of travel nursing and working in the ICU, she pivoted to aesthetic medicine and has found her passion. She now has over 2 years of experience in aesthetics and brings a meticulous, safety-driven approach to every treatment, drawing on her critical care-based expertise. With a lifelong background as a dancer, Alison offers a refined aesthetic perspective, prioritizing natural, harmonious results. Known for her precision, poise, and patient-centered care, she is dedicated to helping clients look and feel their absolute best.
With over 14 years of experience in Adult-Gerontology care, Krysha Mallari is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner dedicated to optimizing functional health and enhancing quality of life for adults and older adults. Having worked across diverse settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and clinics in inner-city Philadelphia, Krysha has extensive experience managing complex chronic diseases throughout the adult life spectrum. Her background in aesthetic medicine combined with integrative health provides a holistic approach to patient care. Her goal is to improve functional and mental wellness, promote a balanced lifestyle, and empower individuals to take charge of their health for greater happiness and a healthier life.
A valued member of our team, Michelle is a licensed esthetician with over 20 years of experience in the beauty business. She earned her degree from Jean Madeline, an esteemed beauty school in Philadelphia, PA, and brought her wealth of knowledge to Body+Beauty Lab several years ago. Michelle’s passion for skin care first emerged in high school after her sister took her to receive her very first facial. She loves educating our clients and helping them in any way to look and feel their absolute best. She believes that an ideal full spa experience is made up of three vital components: quality skin care treatment, rejuvenation, and relaxation. When she’s in the office, you’ll normally find Michelle working with patients and performing a range of treatments, like HydraFacials, microneedling, chemical peels, VISIA® skin analyses, and more.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Judy has over fifteen years of experience working as an esthetician. Before obtaining her esthetician’s license from the American Beauty Academy, she worked as a makeup artist before deciding to focus on her passion for skin care. She lived in Chicago for several years where she obtained a dual esthetician’s license in Pennsylvania and Illinois. To expand her knowledge of aesthetics, she worked as a Practice Manager for a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon and Medical Spa in downtown Chicago. She has attended many advanced esthetics educational and training courses to stay well versed in the industry. With extensive knowledge and practice of medical grade treatments and skin care products, she uses her expertise to help clients look and feel their best. She finds it very fulfilling to connect with her patients, establish trust, and give personal attention to their needs.
Lua has 17+ years of experience in medical aesthetics, both in plastic surgery and dermatology settings. She has experience with operating numerous lasers to treat various skin conditions such as melasma, rosacea, acne scars, skin tightening, tattoo removal, hair removal, Miradry for sweat reduction and many more. She also has vast knowledge of many skincare products. Her goal is to perform result-driven yet safe treatments. Lua believes prevention is of utmost importance including daily use of sun protection. She strives to make each client feel and look their best.
Having enjoyed a successful 30-year career as a licensed dental hygienist, Jennifer Troped refocused her professional goals and was certified as a licensed esthetician in 2014. Jen has an esthetics certificate from The Jean Madeline Aveda Institute as well as a Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University and an Associate degree in Dental Hygiene from Harcum College. She has worked for both surgical and dermatological practices and is experienced with a multitude of skincare and laser treatments.
