Is AQUAGOLD® Fine Touch treatment painful?

This treatment is virtually painless. We use a small amount of topical anesthetic to help keep you relaxed. You may feel slight pressure as the device is applied across the problem area.

How quickly will I see results?

Most patients see results immediately post-treatment, noticing plumpness and an overall smoother look. It is common to see mild redness after the microinjections, but that should resolve within 24-48 hours and leave you with plump and dewy skin that is ready for an increase in collagen production.

How is microinfusion different from regular microneedling?

Microinfusion, or microinjection, uses hollow needles for a more sophisticated approach to delivering products or serums directly into the skin, whereas microneedling pricks the skin and then products or serums are placed over the top. Microinfusion injects the serum directly into the skin to improve effectiveness.

What should I expect during an AQUAGOLD® Fine Touch treatment?

After your consultation, one of our experienced team members will guide you to a comfortable treatment room. There, your skin will be gently cleansed and prepared, and a small amount of anesthetic will be applied to ensure your comfort throughout the procedure. Although the AQUAGOLD® Fine Touch treatment causes little to no discomfort, the anesthesia helps you relax and keeps the treated area at ease. Once your skin is numbed, the AQUAGOLD® device will precisely target the treatment area, creating micro-injuries while delivering a customized serum blend designed to address your specific skin concerns. After the procedure, a cold pack or soothing ointment may be applied to calm the skin and reduce any redness.

Is there a long downtime or recovery period?

No! You may experience mild redness to the skin, but that typically resolves around 24-48 hours post-treatment, so you can get back to your regular scheduled activities right away. We would recommend avoiding applying makeup or products such as retinol and vitamin C serums to the skin for 24 hours.
