Ideal Candidates
Patients who would like to improve their skin texture and tone are usually the best candidates for PRF. Since these treatments promote collagen production naturally, it's also a wonderful treatment choice for refreshing tired-looking skin. Inform your esthetician about any skin conditions, anemia, or blood disorders to decide if it's safe for you to undergo PRF therapy.
Body+Beauty Lab | Philadelphia Reviews
I love this place! From the warm welcoming front desk, beautiful rooms and top notch services, this is going to be my go to place. I recently saw Lisa who recommended Prf, I am so happy with the results. At 57, I am new to these services and Lisa taking the time to evaluate what would be best for me, made me “firm” 😜 believer.

Procedure Technique
After you're comfortably seated in one of our secluded minor procedure areas, a small amount of blood will be taken from one of your arms and put into a centrifuge machine. Most of the time, we remove around one vial of blood. After approximately 15 minutes on the centrifuge machine, the components of the blood separate and are then ready to be injected. We will load your rich fibrin solution into a syringe and inject it into the predetermined locations. The process for PRF therapy typically only takes five minutes, but this can vary on a patient-to-patient basis.

About UsWhat to Expect
PRF therapy naturally promotes collagen and elastin production to reveal tauter, more youthful-looking skin. The risk of adverse or allergic reactions is nonexistent as it uses your own blood. You can expect your face to be a bit red following your session as traces of red blood cells can make it into the injection. Cold packs can be used on the injection area to minimize discomfort and swelling. Our skilled team typically recommends clients to undergo treatments in 4 – 6-week intervals to maintain results.
Glowing Skin
When you receive PRF treatments, your complexion will look healthier and brighter than ever before and produce a glowing, beautiful appearance. This treatment is just right for women and men who desire natural techniques for skin rejuvenation that provides gorgeous results. To learn more about this popular procedure, call our Philadelphia, PA office to schedule a consultation with one of our experienced estheticians.
PRF Therapy FAQs
How much does PRF therapy cost?
Treatment costs for your therapy will depend on the size and number of areas being treated and if you are having it performed with another treatment. Your technician will talk about a cost estimate in your consult, then review specials we offer on PRF treatments and payment options.
How long do results from PRF therapy last?
Visible PRF therapy results may last for as long as two months. The results will vary in every person and depend on where the treatment is used. Some of the advantages of these treatments are that they don't require incisions or lengthy downtime. These injections are also more cost-effective than a surgical procedure.
What are the risks and complications of PRF therapy?
Potential side effects of this treatment on their own are mild and can include temporary swelling and bruising. If microneedling is performed with PRF therapy, possible risks include skin infection, delayed healing, and pigmentation changes.
Will PRF help replenish volume?
Neither PRF therapy adds volume. While these platelet-rich treatments offer great results because they rejuvenate the complexion and stimulate your production of elastin and collagen, PRF treatments are not meant to increase volume. If you would like to contour areas of your face, you may add dermal fillers to your treatment plan.
Is PRF therapy painful?
Receiving PRF injections feels like a BOTOX or dermal filler injection but with the added step of drawing blood to retrieve the plasma or fibrin. Usually, patients feel a small pressure or pinch when the needle pierces the skin. If you're nervous about being uncomfortable, ask if you can receive a numbing cream to the treatment area.
